2. Product features and applications

ST-319-4 is a two-component room temperature vulcanized addition liquid silicone rubber with excellent insulation, moisture resistance, shock and thermal conductivity, and good flow properties. It is suitable for potting various electronic components and making electronic components operate safely under harsh conditions.

It is mainly used for sealing, insulation and thermal conduction protection of LED power supply in the electronics industry, potting of electrical components, potting of high-voltage components, and moisture-proof coating of circuit boards.

4. How to Use

1) Stirring: Before mixing, the A/B component needs to be stirred in a bucket for 5-7 minutes using manual or mechanical equipment. The agitator should be placed at the center of the liquid level, and the depth of the agitator inserted into the glue is preferably 1/2-2/3 of the depth of the glue. Component B should be shaken left and right 5-7 times in a sealed state before use.

2) Mixing: The two components must be completely mixed according to the weight ratio A:B=1:1, and the mixing can be done manually or by acting equipment. If you need to change the ratio, you should test it before you can actually use it. Generally, the more the B component is used, the shorter the operation time and the curing time. The higher the ambient temperature, then have the shorter the operating time and curing time.

3) De-foaming: In the field of air sensitive applications, the product needs vacuum pumping after stirring.

4) Working time: At room temperature of 25 °C, the viscosity of the product will increase with time. When used, it can be used now and must be completed in a short time (30 minutes). Excessively dispensed glue, do not pour into the remaining rubber container.

5) This silicone rubber is catalyzed by platinum and vulcanized. In the case of nitrogen, sulfur, phosphorus and organotin compounds, it inhibits vulcanization. Therefore, when using it on the circuit board, wipe off the residual rosin as much as possible, and try to use low-lead solder. The addition molding silicone should also avoid mixing or direct contact with epoxy glue, polyurethane glue, condensation type glue, etc., so as not to affect the normal curing of the addition molding glue.

5. Storage and Transportation

1) This product should be sealed and stored in a cool , ventilated and dry place (5 ℃ to 25 ℃), and prevent being exposured in the rain and sun.

2) The storage period of glue A is 12 months at room temperature, and that of glue B is 6 months. After long-term storage, the filling in the glue will settle. Please mix it well and use it without affecting its performance.

3) This product is not a dangerous product, but please pay attention to avoid the contact between the curing agent and the skin and eyes. Once in contact, wash the product with appropriate amount of detergent and water immediately. If it splashes into the eyes, wash it with flowing water for at least 15 minutes, and consult the doctor.

4) After the product is opened, it should be used up as soon as possible. The unused products should be sealed and stored in a safe place.

5)This product is non-dangerous and can be stored and transported as general chemicals.

6）Due to the reaction mechanism, the electrical properties of the product should be tested after 72 hours.

This product is packed in plastic drum: Glue A is 25kg/pc, and glue B is 25kg/pc.
